The decentralized extra-low voltage drives are suitable for your applications with power ratings between conventional servo drives and miniature drives. The DC operating voltage range of 48 V offers the additional benefits of extra-low voltage in terms of compact design, electrical safety and simplicity.
Extra-low voltage drive units have so far been particularly demanded in applications in the automotive and consumer products industries. However, this field has different product requirements in terms of robustness, durability, serviceability and scalability compared to conventional industrial servo drives.
Our focus when developing the CMP ELVCD was not to develop another extra-low voltage drive, but rather a decentralized drive unit with all the features of a SEW-EURODRIVE servo gearmotor.
